The Golden Circle Classic

This popular excursio introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in iceland.

Starting by driving through Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area in the scenic landscape of Lake Pngvallavatn.  From there, we can go to Pingvellir National Park, where the icelandic parliament Alpingi was founded in the year 930 AD.  Pingvellir is geologically remarkable and the tectonic plate boundaries form a breathtaking scenery.

And then, contiue to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, where people can walk so close to the edge that might feel the mist of the glacial water on our faces.  From there people can journey towards the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs ofGeysir and Strokkur.

Skalholt church, the ancient sear of the Icelandic bishops.  From there travelling towards Hverageroi, a small charming horticultural village.

The Blue Lagoon in Iceland
